ProWise Institute of Technology brings the experience of a working multi-discipline engineering and construction firm into the classroom and onto the job site. Our programs are built for three groups: Engineers-in-Training (EITs), construction subcontractors, and construction workers, covering structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and piping disciplines.

Programs
Programs for three groups: Engineers-in-Training, construction subcontractors and construction workers.
Engineers-in-Training: Design Practice
Structural, civil, mechanical and electrical design to NBC, OBC and CSA standards, calculation reviews and drawing checks under senior P.Eng. mentorship.
Engineers-in-Training: Tools & Professional Practice
Bentley Systems design and drafting software, FEA and piping stress fundamentals, and professional practice for the path to P.Eng. licensure.
Subcontractors: Drawings & Contracts
Reading IFC and shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, site instructions and change orders under CCDC contracts.
Subcontractors: Compliance & Sign-off
Building Code requirements, inspections, TSSA and PSHSR/PSSR readiness, and the quality documentation needed for engineer sign-off.
Construction Workers: Multi-Trade Skills
Reading drawings, layout and installation best practices for structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work.
Construction Workers: Site Safety
Ontario OHSA responsibilities, hazard awareness, rigging and hoisting basics, and safe work in active industrial facilities.
